Christmas Opening Times & Other News

We have been remiss in updating our news items for most of the year, not because of lack of news but of time to sit down and write about it!

We are now fully settled in to our new premises, despite some last minute building works that were required and we’ve had some great feedback from cutomers who appreciate the extra space and dedicated client office we can now offer for tests that take a lot of set up and operational time.

2025 has been a very busy year for us and we are looking forward to an equally busy 2026. As always we are hugely grateful for our regular and new customers who found us this year. A lot of our new clients have been through word-of-mouth, which is always great to hear about and we thank anyone who has recommended or passed our name on to their colleagues.

Next year we are starting testing on our ambient pressure modification for our vacuum chambers. This will allow us to run a number of thermal cycles in vacuum before switching to an ambient pressure mode, without the need for moving the test setup to a dedicated ambient pressure testing chamber. The final assembly and integration for this has been happening this week and we are aiming to get test cycles done on TVAC#3 in the new year.

Our outgassing facility has received a new pumping system in order to see it through another 20+ years of service and we are very happy to welcome Chloe who has taken over the running of the outgassing facility. We are already booking into April 2026 for outgassing so if you would like to book a test please contact us sooner rather than later.
