Outgassing Testing (ECSS-Q-ST-70-02C)Our outgassing facility is built to NASA and ESA specifications and has been approved by ESA as a trusted laboratory for ECSS-Q-ST-70-02C outgassing activities.
Other than the provision of twelve, rather than twenty-four specimen compartments, tests are run to ECSS-Q-ST-70-02C 2008 issue (previously ECSS-Q-70-02A, generic ECSS-Q-70-02). Twelve cells (two blocks of six) are available per run. The allocation of these is, of course, entirely up to the customer dependent on how closely they are required to conform to the Standard. However, the normal distribution we are asked for is:
A report of mass loss and gain is produced with annotations where anomalies or unexpected results arise. The price quoted is for a basic run. Any other requirements - e.g.. post-run conditioning are priced accordingly. Please note: your material or product have already been tested/approved. Check the online ESA and NASA outgassing databases or the SPACEMATDB which searches across multiple databases.
